Bio

One day I just went…feral. Embracing my passion and shunning my cubicle, I turned towards photography to walk the path of right livelihood and to share my vision with others.

Heartbreaking beauty surrounds us every day. As life streams forward at a frantic pace, these moments of serenity too often go unnoticed. My work is focused on capturing moments of grace in a busy world, and sharing the experience with my audience.

With a degree in history, I have cultivated an interest in archaeology, organic architecture, and artistic expression from the paleolithic to the modern age. Photographically, my core influences include Tom Till, David DuChemin, Michael Kenna, and Michael Crouser. More broadly speaking, I have been deeply moved by the work of Edward Abbey, Craig Childs, Terry Tempest Williams, Tom Russell, Pablo Picasso, Mark Rothko, and Frank Lloyd Wright.

I live in Massachusetts, and can be found sauntering about New England or the Four Corners Region with my wife, Wendy. I am member of the Cambridge Art Association, Concord Art Association, the Arts Alliance of Hudson, and One Percent for the Planet. My work can be found in Denault Studios of Maynard, MA.
